The back-to-school season is going to look a whole lot different this year. Many parents have been faced with a decision that can literally make the difference between life and death. Here in our state, we were given a choice — continue remote instruction or return to traditional classroom instruction. Because of our household setup, we were able to continue e-learning. However, many parents don’t have that luxury and that’s why I’m sharing some tips for how your kids can return to school safely.
It boils down to what I like to call the Three P’s —
- Personal Boundaries
- Personal Items
- Personal Protection
Personal Boundaries

Do you remember your parents teaching you how important it was to protect your space? This is a great strategy to keep in the front of your mind. Boundaries are more important now than they’ve ever been. We’ve had lots of practice lately with social distancing and we have to make sure our kids understand how to maintain those boundaries in school. If you’re like me, you’re probably more worried about the other kids than your own. However, that’s no reason why you can’t remind your littles to create and reinforce those boundaries so they can protect their spaces.
Personal Items

This tip is extremely important! Gone are the days when sharing was caring. Sharing is now dangerous, and we have to make sure our kids understand that. As best as possible, please make sure your kids have all of the school supplies they need. Discouraging your kids from using their classmates’ supplies will help to slow the spread. The same goes for allowing their classmates to borrow their personal supplies — it’s just not worth the risk.

Try teaching this lesson using watercolor paints. It is a great way to show how easily germs can transfer from surface to surface. Plus, who doesn’t like watercolor paints?
Personal Protection
In addition to face masks, it is important to supply your kids with some form of a personal cleanser/disinfectant. I don’t know about you but I’ve found that I have difficulty keeping up with tiny bottles of hand sanitizer. That’s why I suggest using CLEAN BUDDIES™.

CLEAN BUDDIES™ is an FDA-registered hand sanitizer that comes in individually-wrapped packets that actually stay moist during use. With the ability to kill 99.9% of germs, including COVID-19, sending your littles to school with CLEAN BUDDIES™ is sure to give you some peace of mind. One of my favorite things about CLEAN BUDDIES™ is that their formula is EPA-approved. That means these wipes are perfect for cleaning and disinfecting surface areas as well — including their desks and chairs in the classroom (hint)!
We might not be able to control how well our kids’ schools are cleaned. However, we can certainly control how clean their personal spaces are.
You might be wondering what makes CLEAN BUDDIES™ different from any other type of hand sanitizer on the market. Aside from the intricate details that went into the creation of this groundbreaking product, CLEAN BUDDIES™ is built upon a philanthropic foundation. The founder of CLEAN BUDDIES™ identified a need for a product like this in underdeveloped countries worldwide. However, we have the luxury of enjoying it here in the United States.
Data shows that millions of children die every year from illnesses caused by poor hand hygiene. The problem is not that they don’t know how to clean their hands properly — they usually don’t have the resources to do so. That’s why CLEAN BUDDIES™ created a “buy to give” program that will provide you with an opportunity to join forces with them to make a difference. When you begin a new subscription with CLEAN BUDDIES™, they will donate hand sanitizing wipes to communities that need them the most!
Now that you’ve learned about CLEAN BUDDIES™ and the ways it can make this back-to-school season safer for your kids, it’s time to place your order! Plus. each order placed is shipped for free — yes, FREE SHIPPING! Be sure to give CLEAN BUDDIES™ a follow on Facebook and Instagram so you can keep up with their developments as well.
Have a safe and happy school year!
